Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! Experience in Emergency Medicine has made one thing clear.  Many patients seek care in the ER not because they need emergency treatment, or even believe that they have an emergency. They come to the emergency department simply because they didn’t know where else to turn for timely, expert direction.  In countless cases, those concerns could have been addressed earlier through telehealth, avoiding unnecessary cost, time, and stress. By integrating urgent telemedicine with foundational principles of holistic health, we’ve created a model of care that is both efficient and deeply impactful.

  • It only cost 5$ a month to join our network.  Urgent visits for individuals in the network at this time only cost 35$.  This is a tremendous savings when considering costs of other avenues for care such as time, travel, co-pay, and other fees..  Likewise, there is nobody more effective and efficient at properly guiding individuals with urgent problems than a seasoned, intelligent, board-certified emergency physician who takes holistic health and well being very seriously.

  • Our network is designed to give patients timely access to experienced physicians for urgent health concerns and expert medical guidance. We approach each interaction with a strong foundation in fitness, nutrition, sleep, environmental insults, and mental health. This allows us to provide thoughtful, comprehensive recommendations. In addition to urgent concerns, members of our network can schedule consultative visits to discuss general health questions, lifestyle optimization, or decision-making around their care.

  • Our service is ideal for individuals who value a more informed, proactive approach to their health and want access to an expert who considers the full picture, not just isolated symptoms. It is particularly well-suited for those seeking guidance on urgent, non-emergency issues, as well as individuals who want a deeper understanding of how lifestyle factors influence their health and recovery.

  • No. We do not function as a primary care practice and do not replace your primary care physician. Instead, we serve as a complementary resource.  We provide expert input, second opinions, and guidance for urgent concerns or specific health questions. We encourage all patients to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider for routine care and long-term health management.

  • We do not provide ongoing management of chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or long-term medication management. Our role is focused on acute concerns, consultative guidance, and helping patients think through their health decisions in a more informed and comprehensive way.

  • We are well positioned to help with a wide range of urgent, non-emergency concerns such as: acute illnesses, minor injuries, symptom evaluation, and questions about recovery or next steps in care. We also provide consultative visits for patients who want to better understand their health, review treatment options, or discuss how lifestyle factors may be impacting their condition.

  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Our service is not designed to replace emergency care, and we do not manage life-threatening conditions through telehealth.

Our model is physician led, personalized, and principle driven by expert board certified emergency physicians.  We evaluate your situation through the lens of metabolic health, recovery, and long-term outcomes, not just short-term symptom relief.

  • If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, you should alway dial 911 or go immediately to the nearest emergency room.  If you are not experiencing an emergency and you’re unsure, this is when our skill and experience truly shine.  We can help you determine the severity of your issue, potentially treat or guide next steps, and advise whether in-person evaluation or higher-level care is needed.

  • If your situation requires additional evaluation, we will guide you on appropriate next steps: whether that’s labs, imaging, specialist referral, or in-person care. Our goal is to help you make the right decision quickly and confidently.

  • Our model is intentionally focused on urgent care and high-level guidance fitting with our background and expertise. Chronic disease management requires ongoing, longitudinal care, which is best handled by a dedicated primary care physician.

  • We maintain strict prescribing standards to ensure safe, responsible, and appropriate care. Our focus is on treatments that align with long-term health and regulatory best practices.

  • For many urgent, non-emergency concerns, telehealth is highly effective. It allows for rapid access to physician expertise, early guidance, and better decision-making often preventing unnecessary delays or expensive inappropriate visits.

  • Patients seeking emergency care, ongoing chronic disease management, or controlled substance prescriptions may not be a good fit for our model. We are best suited for individuals who value timely access, expertise, and a comprehensive approach to health.

  • Urgent care is reactive and episodic. Our model provides you with direct access to a physician you already know and recognize who understands foundational health principles and applies them consistently giving you more thoughtful, personalized, and strategic guidance when it matters most.
